Whole House Rentals

Hire Wollaston Lodge for your group of family or friends. Ideal for celebration weekends, family reunions, university get togethers, girl away breaks, special occasions or just to get away from it all together.

Have private use of the whole house sleeping up to 19 people with six bathrooms, full use of the new yoga and wellbeing studio, six person hot tub, cinema room, outdoor dining area, gardens, orangery and guest lounge. Ample car parking for up to 10 cars.

Wollaston Lodge is available on a self catering basis. We have a number of external chefs and catering companies that can come and cook for you. These are all independent companies, we ask that you contact them directly as this keeps the price down for you.

Wollaston Lodge is the perfect house for entertaining and enjoying the company of friends. The rooms are large enough to sit a large group together and yet remain intimate.

We can suggest chefs for fine dining, wine tasting, cocktails and canapes.

For those that enjoy pampering, we can offer visiting manicurists, masseurs and make up artists.

For the more adventurous we have a whole range of adrenalin fuelled activities available locally not to mention fantastic walks interspersed with great pubs with roaring fires. Take a look.

Suggested Itinerary

Arrive Friday afternoon from 3pm check in:
Relax and take in the beautiful views with a glass of Prosecco, catch up with friends, perhaps take a local walk. Many guests order in a takeaway on the Friday night.

Saturday:
Option to have a private Yoga class in our own studio at Wollaston.
Instructors, day passes and any arrangements for a private instructor at Wollaston Lodge can be booked through Rowton Castle Country Club.

Or visit Castle Country Club just a couple of miles away where you can have a private Zumba or Aqua Aerobics class. The small entrance fee includes access to the swimming pools, sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room. They have a very nice bar and cafe.

Perhaps visit The Windmill Inn Pub for lunch. The Windmill has a lovely walk through a Deer Park and fabulous views, and a great beer garden!

A visit to Shrewsbury is highly recommended, especially walking the river loop.

In the afternoon why not have a life drawing class or cocktail making class, or a wine tasting with one of our recommended specialists. We have a number of outside private catering companies we can suggest to come and cook a special meal for you all served in The Orangery or on The Terrace al fresco. We provide Bluetooth speakers for your own music.

Check out is 11am Sunday morning.
Some of our guests have enjoyed a farewell lunch at The Windmill Pub on the way home as they have a private dining room with roaring fires.

Arrive Friday afternoon from 3.00pm:
Enjoy drinks on the terrace or in the gardens overlooking Long Mountain.
Enjoy the hot tub, then have dinner in the Orangery or on the Terrace, weather permitting. We have a whole range of takeaways from Shrewsbury or cater for yourselves.

Saturday Morning:
head off after breakfast to Rowton Castle Country Club http://castlecountryclub.co.uk/, just three miles away and enjoy our special day rates. Use their pools, sauna, jacuzzis, steam room, and gyms.
Have a private class in their dance studio.
Back to Wollaston for lunch although they do have a very nice cafe at the Country Club.
In the afternoon have a hunky model for life drawing who can then serve you cocktails afterwards whilst you wait for our lovely French Chef Jerome to cook you a fabulous three course dinner with canapés.

Sunday Morning.
leisurely breakfast, perhaps a local walk and then a farewell lunch at The Windmill Pub on your way home.
